Američka mornarica ciljala je i uništila iransku podmornicu klase Fateh u blizini Bandar Abbasa u Perzijskom zaljevu, blizu Hormuškog tjesnaca.
U tekućem ratu uništeno je ukupno 13 iranskih ratnih brodova i podmornica.
